I would like to cordially invite you to the I International Piano Festival "Musical World Without Borders," which will take place from August 8-16, 2026, in Busko-Zdrój.
The festival is organized by the Krystian Tkaczewski Foundation and the Connecticut Chopin Foundation. The event is co-organized by the Busko-Zdrój Municipal Cultural Center [Buskie Samorządowe Centrum Kultury].
The International Piano Festival "Musical World Without Borders" is an important musical event that aims to promote the city and commune of Busko-Zdrój and to present music lovers with rising stars of the piano world.
The I International Festival "Musical World Without Borders" will take place in the beautiful auditorium of the Busko-Zdrój Municipal Cultural Center [Buskie Samorządowe Centrum Kultury]. We also plan outdoor concerts in the amphitheater in Park Zdrojowy.
The festival will be inextricably linked to another important musical event – Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition, which will take place from August 10-12, 2026, at the Busko-Zdrój Municipal Cultural Center [Buskie Samorządowe Centrum Kultury].
I would like to thank the Mayor Miasta and Gminy Busko-Zdrój, Mr. Jerzy Szydłowski, for his trust and assistance in organizing both cultural events. I would also like to thank the management and staff of the Busko-Zdrój Local Government Cultural Center, looking forward to a fruitful and long-term cooperation.
The opening concert of the festival (as well as the competition) will take place on August 9, 2026, in the auditorium of the Busko-Zdrój Municipal Cultural Center [Buskie Samorządowe Centrum Kultury]. The concert will feature as soloists the winners of previous editions of Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition in Busko-Zdrój, as well as invited guests from Poland, Japan, China, and the USA. Maestro Krystian Tkaczewski will perform at the end of the concert. All artists will be accompanied by the Tarnów Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Masahi Katayama (Japan).
Subsequent concerts will feature invited pianists from countries such as Poland, the USA, Japan, China, the UK, and many others. Solo concerts will take place on August 13th and 15th in the amphitheater in Park Zdrojowy and on August 14th in the Auditorium of the Busko-Zdrój Municipal Cultural Center [Buskie Samorządowe Centrum Kultury]. On August 15th and 16th, two final concerts will be featuring our artists accompanied by the Tarnów Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Masahi Katayama (Japan) at the Auditorium of the Busko-Zdrój Municipal Cultural Center [Buskie Samorządowe Centrum Kultury].
