XI Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition

The competition will be held in the auditorium of Buskie Samorządowe Centrum Kultury. This cultural event will feature distinguished pianists and laureates of international piano competitions from Poland, the USA, Japan, China, Great Britain, Iceland, the Czech Republic, Germany, South Korea, Hong Kong, and many other countries.
The opening concert of the festival (and competition) will take place on August 9, 2026, in the auditorium of the Buskie Samorządowe Centrum Kultury in Busko-Zdrój. The concert will feature soloists from the laureates of the Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition in Busko-Zdrój, as well as invited guests from Poland, Japan, China, and the USA. Maestro Krystian Tkaczewski will perform at the end of the concert. All artists will be accompanied by the Tarnów Chamber Orchestra conducted by Masahi Katayama (Japan). The winners' concert and awards ceremony will take place on August 12th in the Auditorium of Buskie Samorządowe Centrum Kultury.
Competition auditions will be held in four age groups: Young Talents up to 13 years old, Piano Prodigies up to 16 years old, Young Artists up to 19 years old, and Piano Masters without age limit. The international jury will consist of: Krystian Tkaczewski (Poland/USA), Masahi Katayama (Japan), Dong Xuan (China), Maria Murawska (Poland), Hironao Suzuki (Japan), and Vovka Ashkenazy (Iceland).
